All about Parov Stelar
Raised in an Austrian town on the banks of the Danube, Parov Stelar began his music career in the nineties by working as a DJ. His birth name being Marcus Füreder, the young talent found his own sound when he moved away from the Central European music production style to devote himself to a new genre: the electro swing. Unorthodoxically combining widely different musical genres, the Austrian DJ found himself cementing the beginnings of this electronic scene. In 2003 he set up the record label Etage Noir Recordings, and in 2004 he officially started as Parov Stelar - his previous alias was Plasma.
His debut EP "Kiss Kiss" was quickly picked up by national stations, and the following LP "Rough Cuts" introduced Parov Stelar to the international scene. came the international breakthrough for Parov Stelar, and especially in the field of electronic music. Now boasting over 20 EPs and multiple albums, the global sensation has consecrated himself as the founder and reference of electro swing.
