The Japanese singer's start in music
While still in junior high, LiSa sang in a band that sang popular cover songs by artists like Avril Lavigne and Love Psychedelico. LiSa got more serious about her music career in high school singing in an indie band called Chucky. Her talent was immediately recognizable and she knew she wanted to pursue her life as an artist rather than study at the university. When the band broke up after three years, she continued on by forming another band called Love is Same All. In 2010, she made her solo singing debut in the form and an anime character, Yui. She got her big break in her solo career from the song “Angel Beats”. She went on to sing the opening theme for the two TV series: “Sword Art Online” with the song “Crossing Field” and “Fate/Zero” with the song “Oath Sign”. It’s not just her singing voice that’s made her famous. She also landing a voice-over job in the ever popular film, Minions where she voices Madge Nelson’s character in Japanese. Throughout 2012 onward, LiSa released many more singles that all peaked at the top of Japanese charts. Her music continued to rise in popularity with many anime TV shows and even some video games.
LiSa’s concert experience
LiSa has been selling out concerts in Japan and beyond since 3 January 2014 when she held her first solo concert at the Nippon Budokan. Her hall tour LiVE is Smile Always ～LiTTLE DEViL PARADE～, where she held 13 concerts in locations throughout Japan was a huge success and even sold out the last show of the tour.
