Chemical Brothers – block rockin’ electronic duo
Renowned for their big beat sound and array of high-profile collaborators, The Chemical Brothers achieved chart-topping success during the original EDM boom of the mid-1990s. Don’t miss the opportunity of seeing them live – you can now both buy and sell The Chemical Brothers tickets on StubHub.
The artists formerly known as The Dust Brothers
DJs Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons first began making music together while they were studying History at Manchester University in the late 1980s. After graduating the pair moved to London, where they landed a residency at the influential Heavenly Sunday Social and remixed the likes of The Prodigy, Primal Scream and The Charlatans. Originally known as The Dust Brothers, the duo rechristened themselves The Chemical Brothers for 1995 debut album "Exit Planet Dust", a wildly inventive blend of electronica, big beat and psychedelia. 1997 sophomore "Dig Your Own Hole" turned them into superstars of the EDM scene, reaching Number One in their homeland and going Top 20 in the States. The pair enjoyed a further five consecutive chart-topping LPs in the UK, including 1999’s "Surrender", 2005’s "Push the Button" and 2007’s "We Are the Night", with the latter two also picking up Grammy Awards. Following 2010’s instrumental album "Further", the duo provided the score for action thriller "Hanna", released concert film "Don’t Think" and celebrated their 30th anniversary with the LP "No Geography".
